Welcome to Bricks Photography

families, seniors & branding

As photographers we push boundaries, comfort levels, alter broken moments and help create stories that matter most to you. My couples love the ritual of marriage and the journey of getting there. They don't mind the occasional swear word, coffee dates, playing dress up, and are willing to go adventuring to find the most amazing image locations. My families love being creative, they trust the end vision, and they not only want posed images, but also the raw, timeless moments.

If you are ready for a completely different kind of photography experience, then let's go on an adventure together.

Hey there, I see you looking around, not sure who "Bricks" is, or who the rando behind the camera yelling, "don't give me a fake smile", is.

Hi, that's me, Kristin, the short one, in the middle, the one not getting married. :) And obviously one who doesn't mind carrying around a step ladder during shoots, (short girl problems, embrace them).

So many people start our conversations with, "whats's up with your name"? So let's start there here too. I am kinda a historic building lover. But in the way of the bricks. And some of my first paying clients, wanted photographs of bricks.. literally. Tuck pointing mortar gaps, types. I really do know alot about bricks and they can be super cool, and since the name stuck back then I still use it now. Yes, there have been other names I have tried out.. But like the test of time, Bricks has stayed.. (ok that was cheesy, but I like it)!

As of right now you know; I'm short, kinda cheesy, I'll call you out if you "fake smile" at me, I really like old buildings, and I photograph things. The rest of the cool cliff notes you should know before we meet - I met my husband online (but not on a dating app), I moved here from Washington (the state), I am a major people pleaser (your day has to be perfect), and I can wrangle a bridal party like I'm calling for supper - oldest kid syndrome.

If I sound like your kind of person, the contact button is below - go ahead and click it!

 Let's talk soon, Kristin

I love my clients, I am still in awe at every wedding, session and meeting that my clients chose us to be with them during the most important moments in their lives.
